Who We Need:
We’re searching for a Data Analyst to join the team. As our ideal Data Analyst, you will work with data sets, develop reports, and communicate insights. You'll be responsible for creating, monitoring, and building dashboards, models, and ad hoc analyses to support product efforts. As a Data Analyst, you will extract data from multiple sources with ease and work with various teams to help meet their data needs. Grasping and deciphering complex data while leveraging your analytical skills to create actionable insights will be a key part of this role.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days/week in our office based in the Smyrna/Vinings area of Atlanta.
Your day-to-day:
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources for analysis.
- Analyze data using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Develop and automate custom reports and dashboards to help understand product usage and client behavior.
- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business initiatives and answer specific questions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security protocols.
- Other tasks, as assigned.
As a Data Analyst, you bring the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
- Advanced skills in Power BI:
- Building comprehensive reports and dashboards.
- Data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Creating interactive visualizations and reports.
- Using Power Query for data transformation.
- Integrating Power BI with various data sources.
- Knowledge of Power BI Service for sharing and collaboration.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF): Designing and implementing data pipelines for ETL processes a plus.
- Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
- Excellence in data analysis: Translating insights into business strategies.
- Advanced Excel skills: Pivot tables, macros, etc.
- Quantitative problem-solving: Enthusiasm for solving problems using data.
- Experience with secure data: Adhering to secure data practices.
